My concept for homegrown resilience is designing a dwelling that slices the boundary between exterior and interior spaces. I want to design a house that breaks the conventional norm of residential buildings however has a strong aesthetic appeal. I am going to do this through the implementation of a lot of glass in my dwelling in order to optimise natural light as much as possible and hopefully creating a strong indoor / outdoor flow.
