Sketch-Up Model Progressed

I have thought about my model for a bit now and I have struggled to imagine how the space will be inhabited. I simply feel that the space is too small at the moment with the way the walls protrude into the interior space. In order to create more space, I have decided to add another connected building at the rear of the section to double the inhabited space.. I am still contemplating this design as I feel at the present stage it simply looks plastered onto the section - which essentially is exactly what has happened. I think I may need to rethink my design.
